Have you ever considered why people write eBooks? Well as a co-author for a Business How To Book and several of the new and much popular eBooks, I had never really considered what prompts people to write them. Even as a author of such, I never really realized the point at which the decision was actually made. Recently I was reminded of how these things come to be when discussing a topic online with an entrepreneur who wished to start a mobile oil change business and went thru a long series of questions which I had answered a 100 times before. We got to talking about it all and he stated; There is one company, which comes bi-weekly and they are all looking for a new outfit to service them. I could go on all day. Again thank you for the response. I still have a lot of things to figure out hence my interest in the Melric guide. The Melric Guide to Running a Mobile Lube Operation is just such a; How to Book and indeed it seems that this is why people write these types of books, because they are desired by consumers and those who need information on how to do things you see? The Melric Guide sounds interesting enough, maybe I'll go pick one up. Then I thought to myself, we could make a book for folks too so I said; Tell you what since I am retired and a writer, why not document your progress of building your mobile oil change business, make a business plan and take digital pictures. We can collaborate and then make it into a guide; eBook and you can sell it online and we can co-author it once you are up and running. You see having been in the Industry for a while, well I have lots of material already and the real world "Built from Scratch" this gentleman could bring to the table could help entrepreneurial start-ups World Wide. And then the book could be sold online. Just a thought, cannot turn off the entrepreneurial mind? You see this is why and how eBooks get written and why they are so valuable to the human race. Consider all this in 2006. |
