Baby Shower Party Games

Racking your brains and can't come up with some good baby shower party games? It happens from time to time that we can't figure out anything to line up for a party. Here are a few helpful suggestions for games at the Baby Shower you plan on throwing.

Think about creating an activity that leaves behind something memorable for the baby. You can ask guests to bring a picture of themselves or a little memento, something as simple as a poem to be placed inside a time capsule for the baby to open when they reach a certain age.

Here's a fun game idea! Put together a version of the smelly diaper game. This can involve one or several diapers filled with a smelly food product such as cheese, chili, horseradish, vinegar and beer. Then pass the folded up diaper around and have guests try to determine what is in the diaper.

Another idea is the advice game. Before the party write out some problems with a baby, such as constant crying, that a new mother would need advice to fix, then during the party pass out blank index cards to each guest. Have the guests write their own advice for each situation, then collect the answers and shuffle the cards around. Set a fixed number of cards before each problem and have the new mother read the 'unusual' solutions aloud.

To get everyone moving around set everyone into teams of two, couples staying couples and the single guests pairing with other single guests. Now blindfold everyone and separate them from their partners. Let everyone try to feel around and match up with their original partner. This will be hilarious.

You can also search online for other baby shower games if these don't suit. Printable baby shower games are an easy way to set up an organized event. Have fun!
